“Unelected bureaucrats made the British Empire great” – Lord Frost’s position defended

The British Empire is rightly regarded as the best administered empire man has ever created. Not just because of the deftness with which any related genocides have been forgotten, but also because of the consistency and titles of the unelected men chosen to administer it.

Today Britain forges a renewed global might as a fully sovereign, free trading powerhouse on the doorstep of the largest trading bloc on Earth, with which it rightly wishes to not trade with, at all, if it can be helped.

This ongoing project of masculine achievement is only possible because of the quality of the unelected bureaucracy which is overseeing Brexit. Politicians tend to get tied up in the filthy business of competing interests. This is where mediocre careerists are required. Give a craven underachiever a title and he will do anything you like.

Lord Frost is an exemplar. Only recently raised to the Lords he was in danger of sinking into the obscurity he had forged all for himself, until that is Mr Johnson happened upon him.

From here on it is now plain sailing. Global Britain has the dull witted wrecking ball it requires to daily sour relations with the unelected bureaucrats who are so scandalously allowed to decide Continental affairs.

This is not the way of the fierce, independent island nation. We will have our own class of technocrat, thank you very much. And we will have precious little to do with the technical side of things. We require blunt force trauma to the old friendships. We hark back to the time when we just needed to set one European power against the other.

Divide and conquer. Mr Johnson has proven that he is an expert at dividing his own country. Lord Frost will sooner or later achieve the same in Brussels.

It’s just a matter of time. After all, we hold all the cards.
