Those who would stop Climate Change forget icebergs sink ships

Those of us who care about global commerce are all too well aware that polar bears have never lifted a finger to help us. The Woke bemoan the loss of habitat of these selfish, overgrown dogs and ignore the tangible benefits of new shipping lanes which are opening up in the polar regions all the time.

Clearly the polar bears are in no danger of going extinct as we have zoos all over the world full of them. Here they can be viewed safely and taught to work for their keep. This seems a much more useful purpose than bobbing about on shrinking ice floes upsetting the yoghurt knitters, who in turn bore the socks off petrochemical capitalists who just want to put fuel in your tank.

To listen to the Woke bunny huggers you would think the Titanic was never sunk. They ignore the warning that ice is the enemy of mankind and needs no encouragement to violence. If we strike at the ice first we can avoid future loss of life in the Atlantic.

Would you like to find your first class cabin rent asunder by an enraged iceberg? I doubt it. This is not a concern for environmentalists because they do not appreciate the pleasure of leisure sailing in the way their betters do.

Yes there maybe a minor rise in sea levels, but that will provide a new habitat for fish, animals the tree lovers profess to care about but seem content to keep confined to the watery depths.

And even if we were to play at King Cnut and attempt to hold back the rising sea levels, to try and keep the air a breathable temperature, who will pay for it?

It is clear the cost of securing the future for the young can be paid for by the young at the appropriate time. Decades from now when they are old enough to have the surplus equity in their homes.

We can not waste our precious time on this Earth worrying about a future we will not inhabit. And if the Woke have their way it will be a terrifying future full of polar bears and dangerous ice. The legions of dead 19th century explorers stand as a lesson to the dangers of not preventing it.
